No.10. Mabira Forest
You can enjoy the most amazing nature walk in the jungle, see amazing wild animals and scream with joy doing zip lining.
No.9. Tororo Rock
Right in the heart of Tororo town, one of Uganda’s oldest town, with a beautiful landscape, Tororo rock is an amazing place to be, you can enjoy the hiking and viewing of Tororo town and a wonderful landscape.
No.8. Wanale in Mbale
Some people love to call it the baby sister of Mt Elgon, some non Ugandan visitors mistake it for Mt Elgon but comparing it to Mt Elgon is just unreal, this one is a baby, its a hill. Denis Mukungu recommended it, because of the amazing hiking experience, and it has a great view of Mbale town.
No.7. Fort Portal
Named one of Uganda’s cleanest towns, Fort Portal has so many adventurous features that can give you a fresh feel and get you out of your lockdown frustrations, according to Denis, you cannot miss to visit the Crater Lakes, the views of this places is just healing to the soul, also have you heard of a’Mabeere-Ga-Nyinamwiru, you can google about it, and yes they are found in Fort Portal, plus you get to visit the beautiful palace of King Oyo the Omukama of Toro.
No.6. Lake Mburo
Located in Lyantonde District, Lake Mburo is a national park and here you find the beautiful Zebras, you get to ride on the boat, and you can have a bicycle ride through the park.
No.5. Kidepo National park
Its regarded as a crowd free area, located in Karamoja, Kidepo National park was in 2005 voted by CNN as Uganda’s hides GEM, it is also home to the largest herd of Buffalos in Uganda.No.4. Lake Bunyonyi
Found in Kabale, Its the second deepest lake in Africa, with over 27 islands, home to the Pygmies, visiting Lake Bunyonyi you get to visit the Pygmies villages, you get to enjoy boat ride on a Bilharzia free lake, and you get to experience Island Hoping.
No.3. Busika adventure park.
Located in Guyana just a few kilo meters away from Kampala, they have high rope courses, you will not only have fun but you will stretch up and get back home fit, you will not miss zip lining, target shooting, paint ball, and quad biking.
No.2. Murchsom falls.
Anyone in the world that plans to travel on tourism purpose must have Murchison falls on his/her list, Denis calls it a must visit, the things to enjoy here include hiking to the top of the world’s longest water fall, so many animals to see including hippopotamus, giraffe, antelopes, waterbucks, elephants, rhinos, , lions, Uganda kob among others.
No.1. Sipi falls.
Located in Kapchorwa in Eastern Uganda about 45hours drive from Mbale town, its a series of three waters falls, Sipi falls is the world’s most romantic waterfall, the things to enjoy here are countless, start with hiking, walking through the African community, up-sailing on the sipi falls, then watch the wonderful sunset that will make you forget COVID19 Existed.
