You can only understand Juliana Konyomozi’s measure of joy if you can try to relate with what having a second chance means, I had to think of Hannah the wife of Elkanah in the Bible 1Samuel 1, a woman who prayed to God for a son and God heard her prayers, she was given a servant of God, she dedicated this child to God and God only. Hannah could have given up all her hope of having a child but God replaced that hopelessness with a second phase of promised Hope, she believed and achieved.
A woman of Juliana could have given up on having another child after losing Keron (RIP), she could have focused on her bright career and made more money, traveled and possibly do some charity, but her courage, her spirit that always sees hope, she gave it a go to seek another son. TAJ means a crown worn by an Indian Prince of high rank, in other words, TAJ is Juliana’s CROWN. Usually when you persist and fight on, there is always a crown, that is the lesson everyone must learn from Juliana today.Taj is like an answered prayer, a second chance, a promise fulfilled from God himself.
This child must be everything to Juliana Kanyomazi, he has brought back all the lost Joy, he has come with new hope, we might see her back on stage and some more music and concerts, Taj might bring back our Juliana that we have missed for years
Juliana has always been a very focused woman and too objective for a Ugandan, we look back from her career as Radio presenter at capital fm, a Kampala based private radio station, Juliana dedicated her energy as a radio presenter, she was loved and it was very heartbreaking to the listeners when she left.
Her time at the Tusker project fame, an East African music talent search program, Juliana was one of the finest judges and mentor, she served so well and was loved in Easter Africa, possibly this is the reason Kenyans twitted about her TAJ victory even more than Ugandans.
Juliana has never disappointed in everything she has always taken up to do, her Music career speaks billions of words, she was the first Female artist to win PAM awards Artist of the year in 2008. She was among the first female artist to bring Uganda urban music to life.
She has kept her name out scandals despite working with so many male artists, including Bobi Wine who she had one of the most played songs in Uganda back then (Mama mbire). Juliana has been seen connecting with different artists in Uganda, she has been an inspiration to most upcoming artists, encouraging and teaching them how to breakthrough.
