Why Uganda Music Fans are Disappointed with their Artists

While COVID19 continues to keep people in their homes, the social media streets are whispering, gossip just got even better online. A directive from the president came and everyone was asked not give out food or any other assistance to the needy, be it food or any necessities, In fact the president made it clear that if you are caught doing so, you will be changed with attempted murder.

Any assistance that is to be given out is supposed to be delivered to the Office of the Prime Minister. Wait! I am now sounding political, the “Lugambo” here is that some artists have managed to render some assistance to a number of people of their own Interest, we are talking about Spice Diana, Lydia Jasmine, the SWANZ AVENUE Queens (Vinka, Winnie Nwagi and Quinamino aka Awazi), they specifically gave their help to the Deejays.

To the fans, their artists giving out food was not their problem, naye mbu they only gave to the Deejays. The FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions), why can’t they give some food to their fans who sacrifice and support them during their concerts?
