Nigerian Desmond Elliot Coming to Uganda For the Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference

Uganda is hosting one of the biggest parliamentary gathering this year, all countries that were colonized by Britain will be sending their parliamentarians to Kampala to discuss several issues, among the members expected to be in Uganda is famous Nigerian movie star now Hon Desmond Elliot, Uganda’s Hon Robert Sentamu Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine a singer turned politician now representing the people of Kyadondo in the 9th parliament among so many others.

The annual meeting of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association is taking place in Kampala, Uganda and is hosted by the Parliament of Uganda. The Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference is a unique and valuable opportunity to network with legislators for shared-learning and to build diplomatic relations.

CPC will this year include the landmark 30th Anniversary Conference of the Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians (CWP) as well as the election of the new Chairperson of CWP.
